If you are visiting to fly for the first time, please note that for safety reasons the following restrictions apply:
Our lower age limit is 12 years. There is no upper age limit.
The maximum weigth limit in our two seat gliders is 16 stones / 224 lbs / 101kg
The maximum height we can accomodate in our two seat gliders is 6' 4" / 1.93m
If you can currently comply with the health requirements for a UK driving licence, then there is no reason on health grounds that will make it inadvisable to fly. However, if you are suffering from any serious health problem it is advisable to consult your General Practitioner (GP) before flying. Please note that you before flying will be required to sign a declaration that you are not suffering from any medical condition which would endanger your health or the health and safety of others in the event of you flying.
If you are under prescribed medication where the recommendations include that you do not drive or do not operate machinery, it is probably advisable not to fly. if in doubt, please consult your GP.
We will refuse to accept people for Trial lessons who are, or appear to be, under the influence of alcohol or impaired through drugs./p>
